TCTI Presents The Public Safety Trauma Recovery & Resilience Retreat

September 15, 2017

Equine TherapyThe Counseling Team International (TCTI) has developed a new counseling experience for members of the public safety profession.

The Public Safety Trauma Recovery & Resilience Retreat was designed to help those who have been involved in a traumatic event or suffering from personal issues. First responders and public safety personnel often face high-risk situations in the line of duty. Our mission is to identify, treat and restore a first responder’s mental health following an exposure to a traumatic or stressful event.

We believe in empowering the worker through peer support and other courses and treatment. The Public Safety Trauma Recovery & Resilience Retreat is composed of various workshops to promote healing and the overall well-being of those who serve.

Some workshop highlights to look forward to include:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Equine Therapy
  • Peer Support
  • Chaplain Support
  • Confidential Counseling
  • Training Workshops
  • Guided Meditation & Yoga

The retreat workshops will address sensory overload, fear, shock, nightmares, anger, disbelief, sleep problems and frustration, among many other unresolved issues. Our mental health professionals and staff are dedicated to Serving Those Who Serve and we understand the struggle of those affected by the personal difficulties they face during the course of their career.

For questions and pricing, please contact the Training Department at (800) 222-9691.
